Delta G.E.M.S.

Who We Are:

Delta GEMS- Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully was created to “catch the dreams” of our at-risk, adolescent young women aged 14-18.  Delta GEMS provides the framework to actualize those dreams through the performance of specific tasks modules that develop a ‘CAN DO’ attitude.

• • • Instill the need to excel academically;
    • Provide participants with tools to achieve high levels of academic success;
    • Assist in goal planning for high school and beyond; and
    • Develop compassionate, caring and community minded women through service learning opportunities.

Are You:

• • • A young women aged 14-18 or in grades 9-12
    • Interested in developing leadership skills
    • Actively pursuing college and/or career options
    • Desire encouragement and support in pursuit of higher learning
    • A former Delta Academy participant (not required)
